Happy New Year!

Well, my blog is kind of dying, so for those of you who still check it at least once a month, tell your friends, relatives, and friends relatives that I'm still here, just high school life is pretty crazy, but it's pretty fun. Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 2008 has been a banner year for most people, and just another year for others, but I liked it. Christmas was fun, I finally got a guitar, which I'm pretty excited about. Too many instruments to learn...

While it's still in my head, here it a pretty funny site, really having to do with Christmas. I know it's a little late, but use it for next year!

HAPPY '09 EVERYONE!!!!!!

No more goal.

I screwed up. Never mind the goal, I'll just write whenever. I just got back from the Parade, loved it. We walked a whole lot, but it was really fun. I found this really cool website that I suggest anyone who reads this blog should look at. It's www.photo2text.com . It's really cool. I wish I could upload a picture, but I don't know how to do it from the picture they give you. But just look at it, and you'll know what to do.

Seven Day Goal!

My Goal for this week, or really seven days, I will post on my blog everyday. Whether I have nothing or not, I will just type whatever I feel like. Starting tomorrow of course. Right now, it's too late. Oh, and I guess each post will be at least an average paragraph long, and will hopefully be interesting, and, of course, my gratitude for today.

Gratitude for Today:
-I learned the rest of our Tango dance for Peter Pan.
-I got a FaceBook on Friday.
-I got straight A's and a B in Science on my report card.
-I have one merit badge till I can get my Eagle Rank in Scouts (not including the Eagle Project)
-I have a new friend... a yo-yo in Science class. It's pretty fun. I have ring marks on my fingers and bruises on my hand, but it's still fun.

Peter Pan

Well, no one really looks at my blog, but if you're reading this, then thanks  for supporting! Anyways, I am going to be a pirate in my school's play of Peter Pan, which is so far going pretty good. I practice every Wednesday from 2 to 6, but we usually have like a half hour break while our instructor person works with another group. Today, we finished learning our Tango dance, when Captain Hook is singing the song about the poison cake. It's pretty funny.

I am going to copy something from my aunts blog (under Links, she's Lily)

Gratitude for today:
-I learned my funny tango dance for the pirates.
-It was color day at my school. The Freshman wore yellow. I got "tagged", meaning someone in an upper class put their color on me. There was a smear of purple from my Sophmore friend the entire school day.
-I have piano lessons tomorrow, that's always a good thing to look forward to.
-I have getting better at Badmitten, or however you spell it.
-I had Hot chocolate..............yumm..........

HIgh School!!!

This year I have started High School. It's almost like homeschool, but, you know, without the 'home' part. In the past four days I've been in High School, I have:

- Walked from floor to floor looking for my classes, which I thankfully found on time
- Avoided from buying 'Pool Passes' for our non-existent pool (rumors are, though, that it's on the roof!)
- Have had my binder, which contains my homework, writing utensils, and two note books, stolen from my gym locker, part my fault since I lost my padlock for it. I found it right after my binder got stolen. This happened today, wish me luck on my Quest for the Holy Binder!
- Have done very well all my classes in these past for days (which might change since my binder went on vacation to some other student)
- Have not that many old friend from middle school in my classes, but have made a couple new friends.
- Walked from my HS to piano lessons, about a mile away, on Wednesday. A. Very. Hot. Wednesday.
- Doing very well in French 1, thanks to a certain country visit and already half-taken course.
- Made friends with all the teachers.

I think I've done pretty well. I will find my binder thief, or at least my binder, probably in a garbage can somewhere, because who would steal a binder? Maybe if it contained 1,000 songs! That would be a cool binder.

White-Board Skate-Board

I have been posting lost of videos this past month, but I guess in a way this one is my favorite... since I made it!!!! I made this with a marker and a white board. My family has been doing lots of animating this past week or so, so while we're in the mood, might as well make one. I thank my brother Noah for the idea, he created the set by drawing it bit by bit and taking pictures so it would looked like it was drawing itself, but we forgot to save, and iStopMotion crashed, so it was deleted. He gave up, and I decided to make something of it. Enjoy!

Singin' in the Rain

There was a theater in Plesantville playing "Singin' in the Rain", so we got to go see it on the big screen. It was fun, one of my favorite movies. Upon seeing the movie, I remembered a clip I found on the internet a couple years ago:

While looking for this clip on YouTube, I also found this:

If you've never seen the movie, run down to your nearest Blockbuster and pick this up.

Where the poo is Matt?!?!?!?!?

This is a pretty funny/awesome video. I can't believe they got some many people in on it, and Stride to sponsor it! I have nothing to say, other than, 1. Just watch the video, it explains its self, and 2. Please keep checking my blog, 'cause it's getting lonely here.

Ode to MobileMe

This week Apple moved all .Mac customers over to MobielMe, their new cloud computing email service. This coincided with the launch of the new iPhone 3G. Not many users have been able to receive email for days! Apple claims only 1% of users are having trouble, but according to chats, forums, and websites of loyal Apple/iPhone/.Mac users, that percentage is way off.

In frustration, a .Mac user has made a YouTube video in protest. Since I do not have permission to give his name, I will give him the pseudonym, Soe Jummerhays. I also do not have permission to tell you to visit his blog, the top one under Links.

Make sure to watch it twice and look at the tabs!

Home Awaits Me...

Sorry I haven't posted for ever. I was planning to put a bunch of pictures, but it takes so long because I have plenty of pictures, I can only do five at a time, and it takes about seven minutes for each batch. So I will upload as much as I can when I get home and have a faster computer!!!

I leave July 1st. This has been a very high point in my life. First time out of the continent, over seas, and by myself!! Not many kids get to do that. My brothers and dad did just get back from Rwanda doing an animation class, but I stayed for three months, and I am ALONE!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAH! My mom did come and check up on me. That sneaky little person, using me as an excuse to escape to Morocco! It was still fun. My French is coming along, it's going to be hard and easier to learn it when I get back. Number one, I will not be forced to speak it in US, since everyone there speaks English, but Number two, I won't be homeschooled anymore, so I will have a set scheduale of what I have to learn. I just hope I'm cought up enough to even be in French class, verbs are a problem for me, will need to nail thse during the Summer.

It is very late here, I'm sorry to say, so I must stop, go to sleep, and dream of... of... the plane ride home...a nice long eight hours in the plane... C'est l'avie!

Pictures...FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I'm going to try to make up for it, by doing what I said I'd do but haven't been able to do so! Pictures!!!! (The pictures arn't really in order, so I may be showing you the patio, then some trees, then some more patio, or something like that. Sorry!)

That is the front walk to the front door and the gate leading outside.
Some tree that are in our backyard.
Part of the patio. We haven't eaten there much, we need to more often.
Some more trees and more yard. Hey, trees are cool, especially when they have these awesome little fruits ont hem that taste so awesome!!!!!
If you don't have cable... Right now I'm on the third season of House. There's even more than this in another bookshelf, full of videos!

This is the right part of the kitchen. No dishwasher, so there's a dryer next to the sink.

The other side of the kitchen, this is usually where we eat when ever we're hungry, or the tv room... haha
Here's their strange looking moroccan toilet. No little knob you push down, just a button. This one is convienintly shaped into a cresent moon.
Their outside patio on top of the house, but this is just part of it. There's a walkway that goes all the way around the house.

This is my bed room... so far this is my bed.

These are the closets, I only use one
Along with a desk in the corner, and a dresser

This is upstairs, where everyone's (except Matt's) room is.
And a TV, the computer, a Wii, and apparently Guitar Hero

This is the Dining Room table. The cards are there since this is a hot "Solitare" spot in the house. We eat here usually when we have guests. I don't count.

This is the living room, there's a fire place on the other side of
room, but my camera didn't pick it up.

Well, that's most of what it here. I haven't had my camera forever, so when ever I can I'll upload pictures. I went to the prphanage, but forgot my camera int he car, so other people are going to send my Aunt pictures, and she'll give them to me, which I will give them to you.

Hope you liked the pictures!

Moroccan Update!

I had fun yesterday!!!!! Yipee! Uncle Neil got back from California yesterday, he brought back a bunch of movies, like Grease, The WaterHourse, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Bourne Ultimatum and Idenity, and a
few others. I broke my goal, or achieved it, or whatever you'd callit, by going without soda for a week, although, I forget when I madethe goal, so I had to guess, anyways I drank some soda. It tasted so
good. I also, the other day, did 20 push ups. My head exploded, but itwas worth it. Then we all went to the orphanage. It took us about 2 hours, we watched Grease on the way there on theirlittle movie player. We picked up Sufian, a friend, to come with us,he's about 21. He's been there a bunch, same with Mary, but he speaksEnglish, Arabic, French, and Berber, so he helped us out. We had to climb 7 stories of stairs (or 128 steps, I counted, not includingplatforms on the stairs) to get there. It was in a hospital. Anways ,the kids there are so cute! There was one baby that was abandoned and
found by the side of the road in a box. She was so tiny! I don't think JJ was even that tiny when he was first born. Then I saw all the other
babies, made them laugh the same way we made JJ laugh when he was
little. I met the kid the baby were Thinking about adopting. (One of them was away, visiting some family, so we didn't see her.) This baby ,HE WAS SO CUTE!!!!! He is 16 mounths old, born Jan 9 th I think. His
name is Jalil. We had fun playing with him, we would throw him up andhe would laugh, we would tickle him under the arms, and he wouldlaugh. Then we went to a room where they kept some of the older boys.Sufian told us there was a blind boy who would feel Sufian's hands, his face, and reconize him and yell "SUFIAN!" They were all real fun. We went to Sufian's house afterwards for dinner. His house isn't likemost of the housed I've been to, is was smaller, but big enough. Marysays their avtually really poor, but they good off in Morocco. Theywould probabbly be living in the projects in the states. I met hisfamily, they are all so nice. I should Sufian and his brother Mustafaalots of magic tricks, and they never got bored! They loved them, Ihaven't done that for a long time. I kind of ran out of tricks by thetime I left, and they were all so confused! How the coin got into theother hand, how I knew what theit card was, etc. His sister made thedinner, Sufian apoligized for the small dinner, but it was huge!First, we had tiny little appitizers of cookies, nuts, and tea. Thenfor the real food, a plate of salad and this potatoes stuff, which wasdelicious. Then we had bread and chicken. I learned how to eat like
they do; with your hands. You take a piece of bread, and grab some
olives, or chicken and eat it together. They had a type of handlingfor it, what to do, it was so cool, and it filled us up. Then we had
fruit for dessert, and I had a very delicious orange. Sufian showed us
2 different ways to cut the orange, both very convinient, then mary showed him how me, Laura and Grandma eat oranges. I showed the rest of
his family a few tricks, stuff like making an orange peel disapear andre-apear. I also learned a little berber, since his mom only spoke
berber, and a little french. 'Tenmert' is thank you. I forget how tosay you're welcome though, I'll have to ask.
As always, I miss you all! Hope Ben and Noah are getting along fine!

OK, Talk to you all later!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya'all!!!!

Marikesh

Well, last week I went to Marikesh. I wanted to upload pictures with this post, but they are on Neil's Camera, and he's in California. It was pretty fun, a very bazar place to be, but it was fun. First, we took the 4 hour drive there Sunday morning. We got to the hotel, unpacked a tiny bit, then took a quick dip in the pool, which was freezing. Yes, I know it's a Sunday, but we were all on vacation, and, well, I think we kinda forgot it was Sunday anyways. After that, we went in the hotel, changed, and searched for a few english channels, they usually had Arabic subtitles in them. We cought the last half of "Coming to America", with Eddie Murphy, then we saw "Unbreakable", with Bruce Willis. Both very good movies. We got dinner after that, and it was okay. I'm not very used to Moroccan restuarants, let alone their dishes, but it was good. I had fish, but I liked the rice with shrimp and stuff alot better. The next day, we had breakfast downstairs, schecked out, and went to some lake. I forget the name, but it was big, square, and had fishes in it. We fed the fishes with bread that cost 1 dh. I have pics, but not with me. Then we went to this really cool garden, where they grow a bunch of herbs that I can't remember or can't pronounce, but they all smelled really good. After that, we went to the biggest attraction, "The Square", which isn't really a square, but oh well. The only thing I really like about that place was the freshly squeezed orange juice. It was delicious. There were about 15 more orange juice stands, doing the same thing, I don't know how they all stay in buisness. Then there were some snake charmers, but I knew snake were deaf. I learned that they drug them and make them dance. The snake charming music is so anoyying. They play it over, and over again. I also became an "alomst " victim to some dude who wanted to make money. There were people everywhere that wanted to sell you things, no matter where you went. Anyways, some guy comes up to me, starts speaking french, not sure what he was saying, other than he was begging or he was selling somehting. He put a snake around my head, put his cap on my head, expecting us to take a picture and pay him 200 dhs, which is about 18-20 bucks. Of course, Neil was telling him in French to stop, we don't want a picture, sorry, good bye, stuff like that, and the guy finally gave up. It would've been a stupid picture anyways, the snake around my neck was either drugged or dead. We got lunch, and had some fish pie thing, it was pretty tasty. We got some of this yummy ice cream after that. On the way home, we stopped at this little shop with a bunch of cool stuff, like fossils embeaded into plates, geods, candle holders, lots of stuff. I picked up some things for my family, he gave us a good price, since Neil was friends with the guy. In morocco, there really isn't a set price on anythihg, you can haggle, I haven't done it yet, since I don't know how to speak French pretty fluently, but I'm pretty sure it's fun. :)
In the car, me and Anna watched lots of MASH (which, by the way, we finnished the season the other day, great last episode), and we were home in no time.

Wish you were all here, but Morocco isn't big enough for everyone, unfortuatley. We should plan a trip to Rwanda...

Note to Home

Here's a letter to home:

"Tutoring is going very well. I like it alot. I am tutoring Josh's and Kent's ( one of our friends little brother) class, who I think is in 5th grade.I will make sure to ask them, help me get a boost in earning cash by my self. I show them tricks, but I think I should stop. Not because sticking an entire pencil up your nose and pulling out of someone's ears is setting a bad example ( I tell them to never do it, but I probbably won't be doing it anymore because...), but because THEY KEEP ASKING ME TO PULL A COIN OUT FROM THEIR ARM OR SAYING "DO THAT RING TRICK AGAIN!!!!" EVEN THOUGH I'VE SHOWN THEM THAT 40 TIMES!!!!!!! AAAGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!But they're good, I'm glad I'm there.
I'm glad you finally got rid of those cars, now we can eventually fill it up with a broken Lexus and Chevy! And just so I understand, Marcus Dairy Store might be staying open a little longer since they're not sure wheather it's a good or bad idea to? Well, wheather I make cash there or not, I like they're root beer and STUFF.
Oh, and speaking of excersize, we (meaning the whole family) did a mini workout thing, which lead up to a goal. Neil said that by the end of 2 months, we should ALL be able to do 50 push-ups. Right now, I'm on 3. Grrr, but I've been keeping up with my excersixe before that, so I'm trying my best. But it is so hard to eat healthy here!!!! First of all, Amina makes this awesome chocolate cake and lemaon rind thing that you gain 5 pounds just looking at it! Second of all, Neil is always making salsa, which is really good, we eat it all the time. And third and worst of all, Mary and Anna DRINK DIET COKE FOR BREAKFAST. WE HAVE SO MUCH SODA HERE!!!! 1 CARTON OF MOUNTAIN DEW, 2 CARTONS OF ROOT BEER, AND SOON TO BE 2 CARTONS OF DIET COKE!!! (They bought a case of diet coke, you know, the carboard boxes with about 12 of them in it, it was gone the next day. Anna is such a pig when it comes to Diet Coke) Anyways, I've been trying to keep up at being healthy (oh yeah, Amina make these awesome crapes all the time, and all the time we ALL somther them in NUTELLA!!!!), and they said by the time I leave, I will be Drinking Diet Coke for breakfast with them. Those little devils... Very excited to hear about the trip to Rwanda! I am actually kind of jelous. I wanted to be more apart of all this stuff, with Owen and Mzee, and now this Miza thing. Tell B & N I am very jelous. I'm glad Jonah is finally breaking a habbit!!!! I'm also glad you found him. I can't wait to here from him. Speaking of which, I'll TRY call you at about 2 30 your time. I had my first piano lesson the other day. She's all right, she's a person in our ward. I very much used to Barbra's style though, whatever that style may be I don't know! :)
Glad to here Noah and Ben are having some fun with the Wii. I have not played the Wii at all here, other than occasionally helping Josh with a video game. Josh and Matty are doing just fine. Josh does get a little anoyying, especially to Anna, he and his little ninja, superhero, gun shooting mind... Matty talks a little more. Josh was doing the Worm the other day, so I said I could do a backwards one. I just did the Worm, just in an opposite direction, and Matty laugh so hard!!!! It was very funny. I see a little more of Neil now, He had to be gone for a week or so in another country, but now he's back. He's really good at push ups. :) Hope you are all having a good time!!!! Wish we had a web cam!!!!!

Hello from Rabat!!!

I'm here in Rabat, Morocco. It is pretty awesome. I've done quite alot these first few days. I've gone to a birthday party of one of Anna's friends ,didn't really like it though, to boring, well, for me. There was lots of music, and lots of people were acting like dumdums, throwing sodacans at each other, playing some game I don't know, listening to music that has lyrics like "F*** you B****, Kick your ***!!! (cuts to heavy metal screaming)". Anyways, birthday party, I played baseball (which they signed me up for without me knowing), it was fun. Our team won. Went shopping with Anna's (and now mine) friends, Mary, Grama Ann, and her Daughter Sue. I got this cool puzzle box. Went over to a friends house (all of these friends here were friends of Anna first, but I'll just refer to them as "friends" now, and I'll occasionally give their name), and had church, which was fun. OH, and watched like a whole season of M.A.S.H. Right now, Anna and Josh are at school, I've done all the school work I am able to do at the time, and I'm doing fine.

Hi to all!!!!!!!!

ps, I forgot my camera at home, so I can't take any pictures, but when my camera gets here, I'll take a bunch and post them.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!

Tomorrow, I go on an airplane, at 8:20pm. Then, about 9:20pm, we take off (you know airlines, make you wait another hour because the captain doesn't like the food on board and went someplace else to get food, and now the staff can't find him :) )
and then I wait for 7 hours and 25 minutes, and then land. THEN I'LL BE IN MOROCCO!!!!!!! But then I have to go through Customs, which I hear is isn't really the thrill of your life, but after all the legal stuff, I'll get picked up and I'll go home and sleep for the amount of time the plane ride was.

That's my plan.

I'm about packed, just some last minute stuff. I'll try and post pictures when I've been there about a week.

BYE BYE!!!!!!

April Fools Cake

Wish I had a picture to post here right now, but you guys will just have to live with a description, I might upload a pic later though...

For April Fools, me and my mom made a cake for dinner!!!!!!!

BUT

This was no ordinary cake. It was actually a double-decker meatloaf cake. With mask potatoes as icing!! Then we mixed potatoes with Ketchup and red dye and wrote a bunch of stuff on the cake. It looked like a real cake!!!!

We were going to make a real cake to eat afterwards, just so they wouldn't feel bad... but we didn't. :)

I got the recipe from www.spatulatta.com . It's a cool little website.

Yet VS Gnome

I just added a new Link. Yet VS Gnome is very funny and fun to watch! The guy who does it is in our neighboring Ward, and works at Blue Sky Studios! Here is a vid of his latest one (and my favorite)!

Morocco Date!!!!!!!

Last week, we bought my ticket to Morocco!!! I am officially leaving April 10th, and will be coming home July 1st!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! That's in 13 days!!!! Wait... that means today is an unlucky day...dang. Oh well. Speaking of April, Ben's Birthday is in 9 days!!! He will be turning 9. We already got him a few gifts (surprisingly from GoodWill), we got him a Wii game, and a little Claw Game that you put candy in and try to fish it out! Although it was a little broken, took me a little while to fix it, but I finally got it to work, so now I just have to keep it hidden in my room.

Anyways, I'm going to miss you all that read my blog (which is family. If your not family or friend, then I will not miss you...sorry), but I'll be posting lots of pictures (when I can) here, and will be trying to write a lot.

My Impossibottles!

Impossibottles are basicly anything that is inside a bottle that fits impossibley inside, i.e., a deck of cards, inside of a Snapple bottle.
(click on the pictures to enlarge them)

I mad these a couple weekends ago. I was inspired to make them after reading about it in a MAGIC magaziene, where it had an article about a guy who makes these and sells them for like $400 a bottle! Mine are not that good, and I do not really have that many resources for the tools that they usually use, but it's a fun hobby, and I think they could be worth at least $20 (at least on eBay). The first one I made is the one with half of the flap cut off. I was going to cut the bottom corner of the card case you so could see that there were actuall cards inside, but I forgot to. So I was going to cut half the flap off (while it was still in the bottle, which was very hard and frusterating to do) so you could see cards inside, but i couldn't get the flap to close all the way, so I just left it open, just like I should've instead of cutting. I also did this with a new deck of cards, so it may look a little better, card case wise, than the second one I made, which was made from a used deck of cards.

The second one I made I remembered to cut the corner. I got all 52 cards in there (as I did with the first one) and have them in new deck order (which is also like the first one. It's not important that they are inside the bottle in new deck order, but it just makes it feel more special to you inside). I even managed on the second one to have a seal on it! I've seen bottles (not in person though) that still have the cellophane on the bottles, which I know how to do, but not the patience.

There are plenty of other things you can put inside of bottles. Scissors, a pack of cigarettes, a block of wood with nails in it that would make it impossible for it to get inside, with a hammer on top, a tennis ball, a box of crayons, and even a rubik's cube. Of of these I know how to do, but do not have the meccesary tools, and/or just have not made them yet.

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I have making them!!!!

Birthday!!!!!!!!! WooHoo!!!!!!

February 9th was my birthday. It was pretty fun. I got a camera, for when i go to Morocco, an IQ puzzle book, a $15 Gift card to GameStop, and as a "family" gift, a new remote for the Wii!!

Anyways, I had fun, and now it's over. I have to wait a whole 'nother 363 days till my a year older, and 727 days till I can drive!!!! It seems a lot sooner if you think about it that way.

The Giants Squish the Patriots! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I watched the Super Bowl last night. It was a good game, a very good game. At first, I was rooting for the Giants, but this was before the game. Then I realized, if the Patriots win, they could become the worlds best football team! And they did really good the first 3 1/2 quarters of the game, then Mr. Eli Manning catches the ball with his finger tips, getting them way closer to a touchdown, which they eventually got.

I also loved the commercials, they weren't as good as the previous years, but they had some really funny ones.
If you missed them, you can watch them at www.myspace.com/superbowlads

Well, maybe next year they can make it to the super bowl. They are really good, to win 18 games in a row, I think they have another chance at the title!

Prophet Gordon B. Hinkley Dies at age 97

I just heard on Monday that our prophet Gordon B. Hinkley had just passed away that evening. It's amazing at what he's done in the I think 15 years he's been prophet. He will be missed.

Also, on the topic of passing away, Heath Ledger, the Joker the the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight" passed away also on Jan. 22nd at 20 years old. The police suspect an overdose of perscription drugs, and the role as the sick-twisted mind of the Joker influenced him.

Sad. Hope there will be some happy news soon (My brothers birthday the 30th, my birthday the 9th of Feb!!!! ).

Klondike Bar? Not Where I Went...

I just got back from the Klondike derby. Basically it's a contest for each scout troop to put they're skill's to the test. I think we did ok, but our troop was a little loose, meaning we didn't really bring a flag, we didn't stay the full two nights (because it leads into Sunday. They're probably have they're big campfire now), and since we didn't stay the two nights, we don't really pass camp inspection, since they do that last, and we're not they're, so... yeah. But if we did stay, my guess is that we would come in about 3rd, maybe 4th, not sure. It was fun though, we tied knots, went blind folded through an obstical course, and at the end we had to race with our sled for about 1/4 of a mile. It was 13 degrees, and I forgot my lunch, and mess kit for lunch, and a good sleeping bag (I had a sleeping bag, just not a good one).

Well, on the upper side; it was fun.

On the lower side; there are never any Klondike bars there.

Not Much...

Well, I don't really have anything specific to write about. So I'm just going to go over what has happened in the past week or so.

JJ's B-day was the 15th. He turned 3. Noah's Birthday is the 30th, so we have to do more shopping. Mine is February 9th, so I have a little ways to go. My Grandma visited for about a week while my parents went to Florida to visit some friends. She just left on Monday. So sad. My mom went to the wrong airport, but she would've missed her flight anyways. When we got to JFK, she got another flight that left at 4:00 pm. But that flight would travel from NY, all the way to Palm Springs in CA. Then back to UT. So in total she was in th plane for about 9 hours. :(

Thats about pretty much whats happened. I should have more to say after my Birthday...

My new name...

I have an aunt, and she has a nick name for me. Slub. My Grandpa has a nick name for me. Cal. My other grandpa has a nick name for me. A Big Lug.

Therefore, my new name is Big CalSlub-a-Lug.....

Don't you just LOVE relatives?

--------------------------------------

I've got a big Calvin and Hobbes book I got from the library. I haven't read much of, well, that is before I got it. It's very funny. It's about a six year old boy named Calvin, who always gets into trouble, and a stuffed tiger (which through out the comic is very real to him). They do all sorts of stuff. It's very hard to explain what's funny about it, so do yourself a favor, and get a newspaper that has Calvin and Hobbes, or get a big book with lots of their comics in it. You may find it very addicting.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

I guess it's a tiny bit to late to be saying those things, but it's better than not saying them at all. Hope all of you (who read my blog) had a good X-mas. a cold winter (it's about 6 degrees here, and surprisingly no snow on the ground), and WILL have a good 2008! I had fun. I got a wii for Xmas (it's been forever since we've had video games. We had the first Nintendo that was like, 20 years old. It lasted us a good time, but the Wii is a lot better), and our family got an iPod! It was fun at the New Year party. We all watched the TV, watching the ball drop. It was the second time I REMEMBER watching the ball drop. I may have seen it before, but i forgot it. The first time I saw it, I thought the ball was actually going to drop, not be slowly lowered down by an invisible crane. Oh well. We drank Martinelli's about 2 seconds into the new year. I tried my best to drink it, but I have never like Sparkling Cider, but it did tatse a little bit better that one time...
Anyways, it was very fun.

The downfall of all this is... we have to waitabout 357 day till the next Christmas, and 362 days till 2009!

Haha. :P
